Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0 - What Features Can We See

in Get Started with Your Forum

Animal Crossing will celebrate its 20th anniversary on April 14th, 2021, which is incredible. It seems like too large of a landmark not to commemorate, just like the recent Mario and Zelda anniversaries. So what does this mean for the New Horizons mission?

Animal Crossing New Horizons celebrated its first birthday less than a month ago, and amid high expectations for a major update with new characters and features, Animal Crossing New Horizons is only at version 2.0. We've got a free update, as is customary for monthly and seasonal updates. The update included a slew of amazing April seasonal activities, as well as the Sanrio villages and their furnishings, so it's fair to say it was bigger than others. And the Animal Crossing group is looking forward to a major update that will bring ACNH to version 2.0, with new features, returning characters, new ACNH furniture sets, and even more content from previous games. Here's what you need to know about the ACNH 2.0 update, as well as the Can update and Animal Crossing's 20th anniversary.

Tortimer, the original mayor who was committed to organizing activities even before Isabel took over, is one of the most obvious options for Nintendo to bring back to Animal Crossing for its 20th anniversary. Regrettably, his position has dwindled over the years to the point that he is no longer a part of New Horizons. But who knows, maybe he'll come back. - Tortimer's return should be Tortimer's island return in one way or another. New Leaf's nearby tropical island beach, as well as the hub for all multiplayer mini-games. Basically, you could go to the island with or without friends and play a variety of competitive mini-games to win in-game awards that could be traded for prizes later. The island resort feature in general was a fantastic addition to Animal Crossing, giving you something to do when your friends came over. With this in mind, Tortimer's Island Resort, or a variant of it, along with some new mini-games, would be an ideal candidate for an upgrade to ACNH 2.0. The logistics for visiting islands through dodo airlines and island tours are essentially in place.

Sailboat and Kapp'n are two different types of sailboats.

Capping and his sailboat for years would be another obvious addition to ACNH, particularly in honor of the game's 20th anniversary celebrations. As far back as the original, Kapp'n has brought us back and forth between tropical islands. He's even managed to stop a few whales along the way. He's sweet, famous, and the ideal mechanic for getting from our current island to somewhere el
