How does an Ice Conveyor Work?

in Get Started with Your Forum

Add Ice, Fibres and Powered Additives to Concrete ICENICE Ice Conveyor is specifically designed to put cubed ice, powdered additives and fibers safely into wet mixing cement during hot summer construction pours. It comes with a standard 14” wide PVC belt, with 1” vulcanized T-cleats spaced 12” apart to move material quickly and efficiently with minimum tumble back.

The Ice Conveyor is used by many cement companies who must maintain the hydration of cement during hot weather. This unit is also used to place ice flakes into fishing vessel holds to pack the fish.

Standard equipment includes the undercarriage with safety winch, new tires and wheels, a 2” ball hitch, safety chains and a full-length galvanized cover. The cover keeps any dry powders from blowing around and protects the belt from UV rays for longer life. A 1 ½ hp electric motor is included as standard equipment and can be wired for either 110 or 220 volt power. It has been designed to safely reach up to a running cement truck drum.
