I've been watching KOK for the last few years, competed last year and have been playing myteam for a while so I have some experience. I respect the fact that the panel chose to use more diamonds this year, it's fun building god squads, but personally I disagree with the decision. I think keeping an even playing field is important, obviously teams like the Lakers, Warriors, etc. have more PDs and Diamonds available than teams like Hornets or Grizzlies. With a restriction of 1 PD and maybe 2 or 3 Diamonds, you'd keep teams on the same playing field. Every year there's large amounts of people signing up for the better teams to earn that advantage, by restricting the amount of diamonds that problem would be reduced since there would be less of an advantage. Lastly, all the top teams always have similar squads, when you're allowed to use so many diamonds and can use almost every diamond available for each team, everyone is going to be using those players and teams in the prelims will look identical. If you restrict the amount of diamonds, you will force players to choose diamonds based on their playstyle and this will cause more variety within specific teams, this could lead to better analysis for KOKzone and Frank, they can discuss a players choice in their cards based on styles and the pros and cons. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong, but worth consideration.
